[선교]Day 6 일본 단기선교

Daily Activities:
  • We started the day in Shibuya Crossing, a very popular and busy tourist attraction, to evangelize to foreigners (Non-Japanese people). Many received the gospel pamphlet and we were able to engage in conversations and share about the gospel and Jesus Christ
  • Afterwards, we continued to hand out Japanese gospel tracks in Shibuya
  • At Yoyogi Park, we continued to support the homeless ministry, Lee Kwansanim, Moon Kwansanim and Karen helped cut hair for 28 people. Everyone helped to support the flow of hair cutting and cleaning. We sang praise songs and Eric shared his testimony with Danny translating. We also brought 100+ drinks to be handed out to homeless people alongside meals from a local outreach group
  • Missionary Bae said today set another record for the number of homeless people who came. There were a total of 117. 
  • PTL: We were able to hand out gospel tracks to grade school kids and when they saw the bag they wanted more bags to give to their friends. Another instance, there were English-speaking students that received the pamphlets as well.
  • PTL: God moved through our imperfect nature to help us be a blessing to the homeless people. We will continue to give thanks to God under all circumstances
  • PTL: Beautiful and warm weather for the first time allowing us to be outside to do haircuts and spread the gospel without any weather hindrances 
  • PTL: Missionary Bae repeatedly said he feels relieved by our team and really appreciates our team 
  • Prayer Requests: 
    • Pray for those people we encountered today and who received the gospel tracks these past few days that they will read it and be open to receiving Jesus or attending church
    • Homeless ministry leader - Masuda who is a home-grown leader to continue to grow and be able to lead the homeless ministry 
    • Pray for Missionary Bae’s wife health to continue to improve

오늘의 활동:

오늘은 매우 유명하고 붐비는 관광 명소인 Shibuya Crossing에서 외국인들(비일본인들)을 대상으로 복음을 전하며 하루를 시작했습니다. 많은 사람들이 복음 전도지를 받았고, 여러 사람들과 대화를 나누며 복음과 예수 그리스도에 대해 나눌 수 있었습니다.

이후에는 Shibuya에서 일본어 복음 전도지를 계속 배포했습니다.

Yoyogi Park에서는 노숙인 사역을 계속 도왔습니다. 이 권사님, 문 권사님, 그리고 카렌이 28명의 머리를 잘라주었으며, 모든 팀원들이 원활한 이발 진행과 청소를 위해 함께 섬겼습니다. 또한 찬양을 부르고, 에릭이 자신의 간증을 나누었으며 대니가 통역으로 함께했습니다. 지역 봉사 팀이 준비한 식사와 함께 노숙인들에게 나누어 줄 100개 이상의 음료도 전달했습니다.

배 선교사님께서는 오늘 노숙인 사역에 참여한 인원이 또다시 최고 기록을 세웠다고 말씀하셨으며, 총 117명이 참석했습니다.

감사제목 (PTL):

초등학생들에게 복음 전도지를 나누어 줄 수 있었고, 아이들은 가방을 보며 친구들에게도 주고 싶다며 더 많은 가방을 요청했습니다. 또한 영어를 사용하는 학생들도 전도지를 받는 은혜가 있었습니다.

하나님께서 우리의 부족함 가운데서도 역사하셔서, 저희가 노숙인들에게 축복의 통로가 되게 하셨습니다. 어떤 상황 속에서도 하나님께 감사드릴 수 있음에 감사드립니다.

아름답고 따뜻한 날씨가 허락되어, 날씨의 방해 없이 야외에서 이발 사역과 복음 전도를 진행할 수 있었습니다.

배 선교사님께서 여러 번 저희 팀으로 인해 큰 위로와 안도감을 느끼신다고 말씀하시며, 팀에 대한 깊은 감사를 표현해 주셨습니다.

오늘 만났던 사람들과 지난 며칠 동안 복음 전도지를 받은 사람들이 전도지를 읽고, 예수님을 영접하거나 교회에 나아오는 마음이 열리도록 기도해 주세요.

노숙인 사역 리더인 마스다가 계속 성장하며, 하나님 안에서 노숙인 사역을 잘 이끌어 갈 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.

배 사모님 건강이 계속 회복되고 좋아질 수 있도록 기도해 주세요.
